In accordance with our Club’s Visioning Plan, we funded a request from the Salvation Army in Concord, for their youth programs. The $500 donation was accepted by Will Harper a member of the Rotary Club of Concord-Diablo and the Youth Programs Director.
After accepting the check, Will took a few minutes to update the club on the types of programs they offer to young people. He also shared that 70% of the incoming basketball teams had no knowledge of the game and had never played.
Will also offered to send out a game schedule once it’s published. He said that he would love to have members in attendance at the games.
