The Concord Chamber of Commerce Mixer, co-hosted by the three Rotary Clubs in town, and sponsored by the Crowne Plaza Hotel was a huge success!  At best count, over 100 people attended the event.  A majority of them were not Rotarians!

Dignitaries from far and wide came to the event.  Concord’s own City Council made a showing as well.  PEE Edi Birsan spent some time with us before heading off to the Mayor’s Conference.  Council member Laura Hoffmeister also dropped by for a visit.

Midway through the mixer, each club president took a minute or so (some went on longer) to welcome those assembled and introduce District Governor Steve Lack, who talked about the Rotary Adventure.  Next up came raffle prizes.  Special thanks to Travis Credit Union, Waters Moving & Storage, Beri Kasper, and others who donated prizes.

Members of the Concord Club Paul King, Guy Bjerke, Rick Ernst and Chris Moulis enjoy the mixer.

Concord’s PE and District Membership Chair, Rick Ernst, put together a table display that took you around the world of Rotary in sixty seconds or less.  Everything and anything about the Rotary world was featured on the colorful and engaging table.

A great time was had by all, with many new friendships being made and old friendships rekindled.  Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make the event a huge success!
