The Gleaning Project of the Rotary Club of Concord-Diablo was recognized in the “Good Neighbor” column on July 5, 2013. Faith Barnidge, who writes the column said, “The Concord-Diablo Picker Squadron takes in volunteers from the community to help glean excess fruit from people’s trees and take it to local food pantries…”
